Dear Friends,

I warmly welcome you to join us for one of the many musical and artistic opportunities at Downtown Presbyterian Church. Whether your interests include singing, ringing, playing an instrument, or behind the scenes work, whether you enjoy classical, jazz, folk, ethnic, contemporary, or improvised music, whether your prefer voice, instruments, dance, or visual artistic creation, there is a place for you. I invite you to come to a free concert, join us at a choir rehearsal or gathering, or experience the celebration of worship with us to see for yourself why we are having such a good time!

By supporting the arts and culture in our church community, we reveal a richness for ourselves and for the Greater Rochester community that will enable us to more effectively be a beacon of hope and deeper-than-your-skin truth for our world. Not only for the sake of entertainment, but for the experience of linking sound to spirit, person to person and soul to soul. I personally invite you to share with me your creative ideas, as we explore artistic possibilities in ministry together.
