For our youngest children . . .

Childcare is provided on Sunday mornings during both Sunday Forum and Worship hours for infants and toddlers. The church nursery is staffed by a paid childcare provider to provide a loving, familiar face for the children each Sunday. Parents and other volunteers take turns to provide assistance in order to maintain a safe adult to child ratio.

For our older children . . .

Time with Children with co-pastor Gordon WebsterClasses are offered for older children, preschool through fifth grade, following the Time for Children in worship. Families attend the beginning of worship together to help children begin to develop worship skills, and following an often lively and spirited conversation with one of our co-pastors, children are then invited upstairs to class. Worship bags containing paper, crayons, a book and a children's bulletin are provided for children to pick up at the Sanctuary doors.

Getting their classroom ready for RAIHN* guestsWe offer a community where everyone is welcome, questions are encouraged, and special needs are addressed. A caring and dedicated volunteer teaching staff provides a variety of creative learning experiences. Classes use Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, and live out what they are learning through various service projects throughout the year.

Activities complementing our curriculum are also provided for older children during Sunday Forum so that parents may attend Forum.

About every other month an activity is planned for families, friends, and other members of the congregation to gather for fun and fellowship.

Families in Service: Changing the World . . .

Newly organized, this program allows families to do ministry together in the surrounding community. Their first project was leading bingo at a local nursing home. Their next project is preparing and delivering meals to some of our church friends who can't come to church.

We would love your ideas and feedback on our Families in Service program.

Summer Schedule . . .

Classes take a break from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Childcare is offered during Worship for infants, toddlers and for young children through age 5. Worship bags containing paper, crayons, a book and a children's bulletin are provided for older children to pick up at the Sanctuary doors. We encourage families to sign up together to greet before the service or to usher during the service.

For More Information . . .

The curriculum we use is Seasons of the Spirit curriculum.
