Facilitated by Laura McKinstry, the Children's Education Ministry Team strives to provide effective and meaningful programs to aid and support spiritual growth for the children of Downtown Presbyterian Church.

Nursery care is available during both the church school and worship hours for children through age two. A paid care giver staffs the nursery, assisted by volunteers. Parents and church members are invited to take turns volunteering in the nursery.

Youth meet on Sunday mornings during the church school and worship hours. In addition to lively class discussions and projects, they raise funds for mission trips and work on service projects. Fellowship events are also sometimes a part of Sunday mornings’ activities, as well as at other times during the week.
