Downtown Arts Link is just beginning this season's Arts and Lunch Series, following a rich first season of arts programming at Downtown Church. Last season's programs, ranging from "Of Things Ancient" to "Mambo at Noon," including Powerpoint presentations about art, music, and scholarly pursuits, as well as a family-oriented organ demonstration, brought an average of 30-40 people to Downtown Church every week.

Members and non-members alike have enjoyed the Arts and Lunch Series, with many attendees bringing a brown bag lunch, to enjoy after the performance, spiced with conversation with other attendees and the performing artists.

The Evening Spotlight events have featured collaborations with a wide variety of community artists, from our own Downtown Church Chancel Choir, to world renowned dancer and performing artist, Thomas Warfield, to the jazz-fusion sensation, Neos, to the delightful Cello Divas.

The Eastman Artist series has provided world class events and scholarly insight as an in-kind service for use of the Fisk organ by students and faculty from the Eastman School of Music.

The offerings have been rich, and we hope to have you join us this season.
